at The Dunn Center for Performing Arts,
Wesleyan College
in Rocky Mount, NC
The Screening of "Miss Nancy Minds Their Manners" at the Dunn Center at NC Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount on December 14, 2010 was an overwhelming, standing room only success! A reception for Miss Nancy, Mr. Peter, Miss Blue and other "stars" made for an exciting evening attended by more than 160 people on a very cold winter night!

More than 200 people arrived for the Oct 14th screening of
Miss Nancy Documentary and filled twin theaters at the
Taylor Theater for simultaneous screenings. We were thrilled to
have so many of the children and "cast"
of characters from the camp and from DF Walker school.
We have been heartened and overwhelmed
at the show of support for Nancy Rascoe and this documentary.
Thank you to many for your support and interest in this film
over the past 5 years!
Plans are underway for additional screenings in Rocky Mount,
Raleigh and Charlotte. Stay tuned!

October 9th screening
At Ava Gardner Film Festival:
“Miss Nancy Minds their Manners”
documentary was recently selected for screening at the
Fourth Annual Ava Gardner Independent
Film Festival in Smithfield and is in consideration
with other film festivals around the southeast.
The film was very well received and the festival was very
successful and a lot of fun!

First Screening of "Miss Nancy at Fearrington
April 27, 2010
A Work in Progress of our nearly completed "Miss Nancy" was screened at
Fearrington Village (south of Chapel Hill, NC) on April 27th.
We were thrilled to see that the film was very well received by an
enthusiastic audience of over a hundred people!
Miss Nancy was in attendance and charmed the audience in a Q&A after the screening.
We thank Linda Booker and the folks at
ChathamArts Sustainable Cinama Series
for inviting us to their wonderful April event.
We are hoping that we will have a series of screenings
throughout the summer as we continue to fine tune our documentary.
Thank you for your continuing enthusiasm and support.

Fearrington Village is an elegant resort/village south of Chapel Hill. Above is the main restuarant and below is the Barn. It was a wonderful place to kick off our documentary to an enthusiastic and interested audience!

Quite a shock....but wonderful, to see our film on a full size screen with a real live and enthusiastic audience.
